Stop-motion animation - Short film

Mousetrap is a mixed-media project. Stop-motion sets were combined with 2D animated characters. 

I was responsible for the stop-motion animation. It was interesting to work together with the director, 2D animators, set- en propbuilders and editor to establish the best way to merge the two mediums. The result is a visually interesting film. It feels new yet familiar.

The film, directed by George Hampshire, tells the story about a technology obsessed family that comes together by the search for the last puzzle piece that got stolen by a mouse. This leads to a literal and figurative cat- and mouse game.
